Pakistan

It is also known by the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) and is also referred to as Intermediate is a popular test that is taken by students of higher Secondary school or Intermediate College (Junior college) in Pakistan. After they have passed Matriculation Grades 9 or 10, they will then attend an intermediate college and complete grade 11 and 12. When they have finished both gradelevels, they have to pass the standardized tests in the subjects they are studying. These tests are given in schools on a provincial scale at a scale that is provincial, and also by an organization called the FBISE on a national scale. Once students have passed the tests, they receive an Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC). This phase of learning is also known as FSc/FA/ICS. There are a variety of streams that students can select for their 11th or 12th grade that includes pre-medical engineering , sciences (or social science) and commerce , as well as computer science. Each stream has three electives, as well with three subjects which are mandatory, such as English, Urdu, Islamiyat (grade 11 only) and Pakistan Studies (grade 12 only).

Nepal
